Maxim Awards 2014
2014 was the third year I’d had the pleasure of working on the Nike Global Maxim Awards, an internal event celebrating the years’ achievements of teams across the company. This time, the Internal Communications team wanted to craft an experience that was a complete shift from the previous year, which was a smorgasbord of color and towering monoliths. I worked with team members at Nike and Big-Giant to craft an experience that celebrated all 30 nominees with an approachable display of beautifully lit pedestals, where nominee stories and imagery added the color and visual interest within a modern black and white color palette. My role included art direction, spatial concept and design, material direction, as well as install and build oversight.
